Slide show |
On May 14 through 17, my long-time ski partner Hania and I tried to climb and ski Mt. Whitney (14494') in the southern Sierra, the highest peak in the lower 48 states. We were guided by Peter Leh, a professional guide with Alpine Skills International and an old friend of ours.
We didn't quite reach the summit, but I did have a bit of an adventure along the way. I've created a slide show with 25 pictures and lots of details. Thanks to Hania for taking many of the pictures.
